KNUTSON STUDIO is the creative studio of Matt Knutson. Matt is equal parts graphic designer, animator, and video editor and fluidly moves between these disciplines to create a wide array of video types for live events, communication, and advertising.
A lifelong musician, Matt's innate time feel and careful ear help to elevate his work both visually and audibly, as video projects are a unification of movement and sound. He works intuitively to make all of the thousands of tiny edit decisions, animation eases, and level adjustments to give each video emotion and impact.
Operating independently since 2013, Matt often works solo, but also tailors his approach to the demands of each individual project and can also assemble a team of specialists to tackle larger productions. Given the unpredictable nature of the video and motion industry, Knutson Studio stays nimble and flexible—often collaborating with agencies, production studios, and internal creative teams to create videos that clients love.
