Listen To Black Women is an audio podcast that was transitioning to becoming a multi-camera video podcast complete with a live audience. The series was shot in Manhattan and the goal of the open was to give an immediate awareness of the setting and audience.
This 20-second open was created with very short notice in about 1.5 days from start-to-finish. Unfortunately, the client ended up going with a different approach to opening their episodes and this wasn't used, but I think it's cool nonetheless.
